Trek is one of those brands you just hope to one day be able to do some work for. Instead of waiting for that moment to come, we took it upon ourselves to make something that we felt would be a good fit for their brand, also showing what we were capable of.

We kept coming back to the phrase of "Whatever the terrain, choose a Trek", and then played up this idea by showing two different types of biking; road and mountain.

To translate that hight energy feeling, we started out with longer, building shots as the music slowly starts to escalate. As the music crescendos, the cuts start to become faster as the movement in the shots because more dramatic. Custom sound design was a big component in helping immerse the viewer into this environment.

All in all, this was a great opportunity for us to apply a lot of techniques and things we had been wanting to use. Being able to use this as an example for other projects has proven very useful.
